Saturday at the Fairgrounds, July 9, 2005 Up again well before dawn (can you say 3:00 a.m.!) to head for the fairgrounds. Over six thousand awesome cars and thousands upon thousands of street rodders and spectators buzzed around the fairgrounds under a beautiful blue Ohio sky.

SAMPSON'S DESIGNS Check out Derick Samspon's latest masterpiece.  We met this young man last year at Des Moines Heartland where he was a finalist for Custom Rod of the Year with his four door custom '62 Chevy long roof.  His latest design is a stunning '62 Impala Roadster which received a Boyd's Pick at this year's Columbus PPG Nationals. Both Boyd Coddington and Chip Foose made it a point to stop by and encourage this promising young builder.
